Hip Arthroscopy Surgery in Chennai for the First time .!

For the first time in Chennai Hip Arthroscopy Surgery has been successfully operated in Prasanth Multi-speciality Hospitals.
Recently Hip Arthroscopy has operated for 2 patients, a 23 year old lady and a 52 year ld Gentleman who were suffering from Groin and buttock pain in the left hip joint for more than 6 months at Prasanh Hospials.
The Doctor says, X-ray of the hip showed a CAM lesion(Bony bump) of the head of the femur. Patients typically had pain getting up from sitting position. In the past these patients would have been diagnosed with "Early Hip Arthritis".
With the new knowledge and advanced specialized instrumentation for accessing and diagnosing hip joint conditions their poblem was identified as Fomero Acetabular Impingment(FAI). They were the first patients in Tamil Nadu to be treated for FAI through HIP Arthroscopy".
